Annual Function of the Senior Wing

Greater Noida World School organised the Annual Function of the Senior Wing on 4th November 2023. Mr Manish Kumar (D.M Gautam Buddha Nagar) had kindly consented to be the Chief - Guest of the event. Mr. Ankit Kumar (SDM Gautam Buddh Nagar) & Mrs Kumud Srivastava (Eminent Social Activist) graced the occasion as the Guest Of Honour. The presiding committee & the School Management Team alongwith the Chairman, Vice Chairman & the Director Mrs Namrata Gupta were present to add grandeur to this special evening.

The programme commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by an invocation dance by the students. The choir students sang beautifully enchanting the environment. The choir's harmonious voices resonated through the venue, filling the atmosphere with a sense of awe and wonder. Their musical prowess and the emotion they conveyed through their songs left a lasting impression on everyone in the audience.

The school principal, Mrs Manju Kaul Raina, shared the annual report and highlighted the school’s achievements including all the initiatives that were taken under each developmental pillar of our school. The program was followed by the achievements of students in scholastic and co-scholastic areas which aimed in appreciating the efforts of students not only in academics but also in sports, music, dance and other co-curricular activities.

The most attractive event, that stole the show was the depiction of the great epic Mahabharat. The aim was to enlighten our future citizens of our rich cultural heritage, of our great country India. . It was a delightful evening that celebrated the vibrant spirit of the school community. The dance performances were energetic and entertaining, and the overall atmosphere was filled with happiness and enthusiasm.

It was followed by the Award Ceremony, concluded by the vote of thanks by the Vice-Principal.

The Annual Function at GNWS was a testament to the dedication and hard work put in by the students and the organizing team. The attendees praised students and teachers for successfully organizing the event that was full of vigour & joy.
