School Picnic to Khet Farms

Just education is not enough, children must have sunshine, freedom and playtime

The most awaited day for the GNWS Tiny tots was the school picnic to Khet Farms.
The school picnic was for the students of Nursery to Grade II.
Khet Farms -an adventure village, gave an experience of being surrounded by greenery and the beauty of nature. We started at 8.30 am in the morning with prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. The students were extremely excited and kept singing songs in the bus till they reached the venue.
We were welcomed by the staff of the venue and students were amazed to see the adventure equipments. A delicious breakfast was followed by activities like Pass the ring, Dragon tail, Spider web, Stepping stone, Blind bll retrieval, Plank walk, Stilt walk, Caterpillar, Zorbing, Kid tyre climbing, Adult tyre climbing & many more where the students were excited. They even created a few crazy steps and the teachers too joined the fun.
It was the most enjoyable time in the play area. Students relished different snacks and meals in the breakfast, lunch & evening snacks.
All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers.
It was a sound and safe return trip by 2.30 pm.
Presence of The Principal -Mrs Manju Kaul Raina, Vice Principal - Mrs Mehar Afshan, Headmistress - Mrs Jyoti Sharma, Nursery wing coordinator - Mrs Baljeet Kaur made students feel welcomed, loved & special.
